QTU supports the National Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center for Children

This Wednesday we took part in the inauguration ceremony of the rehabilitation center attached to the National Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center for Children. We are very pleased to provide cooperation with the National Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center for Children (NTRC), by contributing with our expertise in social projects, equipment, and technology.

The National Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center is a medical institution addressing children's needs all over the country. It is a central institution covering the needs of patients all over the country and specializes in regional extension. It is the main rehabilitation center for children in Albania and as such fulfills a coordinating role for the 12 regional centers. The services of this institution are provided via clinic, social and rehabilitation activities in the field of mental health, implemented through clinical examination and specialized rehabilitation treatment intervention.

In the framework of QTU’s social projects, we have donated several TVs and a laptop, which serve the purpose of transmitting special didactic materials for the children treated there and their families.  While we help children with improved mental health care, their families can also benefit from special didactic materials for emotional support.

From now on, the children attending the center will enjoy the best of technology that will further help them in improving their well-being and their cognitive skills.

We hope that the support provided by QTU will contribute to the timely recovery and rehabilitation of children treated in the National Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center for Children.
